Texas Instruments TMS320 Cross-Platform Daughter Cards A standard has been established for daughter cards made to function with TMS320C6000™ and TMS320C5000™ systems. The daughter card specification is based on the interfaces provided with the Texas Instrument DSK’s. Signals are brought to the daughter card through two 80-pin headers, with one header primarily for peripheral signals and the other primarily for the external memory interface. The daughter card interface on the DSP motherboard has several set requirements concerning signal drive, timing delay, and voltage tolerance. Daughter cards can work on C6000™ or C5000™ DSK systems designed to this specification.
